Heya. Ambreen here. I’m …

I am a tiny but tough cookie living in New York City. I am passionate about designing and developing a better future. In 2023, I was named one of the top 50 Women Making an Impact in Tech.

Currently, I am Planned Parenthood’s National Director of Product Innovation (and I love my job!).

Under my purview, Planned Parenthood’s Innovation team has launched the organization’s AI-powered chatbot and a newly redesigned period and birth control tracking app in English and Spanish. The team has also been integral in building web applications and conducting ethical research around GenAI and HealthTech market trends to make sexual and reproductive health services more accessible.

Prior to Planned Parenthood, I spent close to fifteen years in media and EdTech in both product and development roles. Of those, nearly eight years have been spent managing teams as large as fifteen and as small as two. I have also taught and built the curriculum for Pratt, Parsons, and General Assembly at various points throughout my career.

I stay involved in the industry as a Chief, Women in Product, and Women in Innovation member. I'm also a proud alum of Parsons School of Design and The University of Texas (Hook 'em!).
